Castel Gavone

It is located on a hill overlooking Finalborgo, about 200 metres away from Castel San Giovanni. This area is immersed in the nature and it is reachable by bike or foot. Castel Gavone was built in 1181 by Enrico I del Carretto as feudal palace with a leading position. Successively, the structure was expanded and fortified and in 1490 the Diamond Tower was added.
