Kleť is the highest point of the Blanský forest, which is a natural reserve located on the southwest direction from České Budějovice.
Kleť is 1084,2 metres high and Blanský forest covers 212,35 km².
On the top of the hill there is an old observatory, a restaurant with bed and breakfast and a watchtower, which is one of the oldest ones in the Czech Republic. If the weather is nice you can enjoy views of the Alps in the distance.
