Santa Caterina's Cloisters

This wonderful place was founded in 1359 by the Carretto's family as the cloister of a nun house and it remained as such until 1930. At the end of the '60 the building was even a prison!

Nowadays in this building there are a botanic garden, the library, the archeological museum of Finale Ligure and an auditorium. Each summer inside the cloisters is set the medieval party and many manifestations.
